Come and join a winning team!
1st Woodford Halse Scout Group are one of the biggest and busiest Scout Groups in the Daventry District and are on the lookout for new volunteers to help us give the children the best scouting experience possible!
Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers meet each week during the evening for fun filled activities. Although we are always on the lookout for helpers at meetings on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday nights, we are really keen at the moment to invite those of you that can help with the odd event, like an angling match, cooking competition or art exhibition. Better still we really need someone to run our website and two or three people that want to come along and help with our camping programme.
Occasional helping in this way helps you to get to know the team and the children. It also gives people new to scouting a great chance to see what it’s about. Come along, feel valued, enjoy good company and do something really worth while!!!
