Special Notice:
Extra 'Happy Christmas' from St Mary's:
a) 6pm on Saturday December 16th: Carol Service followed by Mince Pies &
Mulled Wine, planned partly by the younger members. If you want to join in
playing an instrument for this, rehearsals will be at 6pm on evenings of
Thurs 7th & Tues 12th; contact Tim on 261477 - not least for venue! If
you'd like to help sing, contact Ali Bolton on 261879; practice probably Wed
13th. Welcome, and ENJOY!
b) Crib Service on Sunday 24th, 4pm as usual. This time, NO TICKETS - just
turn up! If you've never been before and have a young family, most people
come again and again; it's usually pretty packed full. (Collection for both
this and the Carol Service on 16th will be divided equally between St Mary's
and the Children's Society.)
c) Watch out for the new film: 'The Nativity Story'. Cinema release date:
Dec 8th - highly recommended!
d) Finally, but not 'Christmas', St Mary's needs a new Treasurer. Could
this suit your abilities and ideals - a Baptism contact maybe? Contact Tim
for more info - we won't twist your arm, but do consider it. Thanks.
