Do you know someone who volunteers for the community who deserves recognition?
May we remind you that the deadline for Northamptonshire Police Authority's Unsung Heroes competition is fast approaching - the closing date for entries is January 31 2007.

May we remind you that the deadline for Northamptonshire Police Authority's Unsung Heroes competition is fast approaching - the closing date for entries is January 31 2007.
Hopefully you will have received leaflets about this event, which seeks recognition for those people countywide who work voluntarily to make their streets, estates, towns and villages safer places in which to live.
If you know of anyone within your community who you think is worthy of nomination for the work they do, please take a few minutes to fill out a form and return it to the Police Authority - all the details are on the leaflet.
Youth nominations are particularly welcome, as Northamptonshire Police Authority is keen to hear about young people who make a contribution to their community.

The awards ceremony will take place at Force Headquarters on 28 March 2007. Those of you who have attended this event in the past will I am sure appreciate what an enjoyable occasion it is for nominees, nominators and police officers and staff alike.
