The Bring and Buy Sale at Woodford Halse Methodist Church on 15th April 2010 raised the magnificent sum of £1,440. This was sent to Pancreatic Cancer UK in memory of Rev Trevor Pheasey, who died from the disease just one year ago.
Thank you to everyone who came, brought, bought and helped in any way. My family and I are so grateful.

Council welcomes changes at waste and recycling centres |

Plans to extend the daily opening hours of Household Waste Recycling Centres in Brixworth and Daventry have been welcomed by Daventry District Council.
The proposals form part of a series of changes being introduced by Northamptonshire County Council, which manages the centres countywide, as part of a new 15-year service contract beginning on April 1. The majority of changes to the service at each Household Waste Recycling Centre (HWRC) will be introduced from June 21 onwards.

The new high speed train planed route would cross the A361 just north of Chipping Warden near the school and head north towards Southam and south to north east side of Brackley.
